AMC at IUPUI to host the World's best and former Indiana Grads on Wed.

The American Milers Club will host the third of four high performance track meets at I.U.P.U.I. this Wednesday, June 13th.

The June 13th meet will boast the best talent of any meet yet this season. With the conclusion of the NCAA season this past weekend, collegiates and recent graduates all over the country are now looking for races that will allow them to hit the Olympic Trials A & B Standards. The AMC Meets at I.U.P.U.I. offer the best chance in the country this weekend for prospective Olympic level athletes to acheive those marks.

During the first two meets of the AMC series, competing athletes have acheived 32 US Trials or Olympic Qualifying marks. Most notably, the first two meets hosted athletes such as 2008 Olympian Christian Smith (800), NCAA Champion Phoebe Wright (800), as well as NCAA Champion Kyle Alcorn (3000S).

The June 13th meet will start a rush of athletes looking to hit the prospective marks before the Olympic Trials start on June 21st.

In addition to these Indiana athletes competing, some of the best racing will come from the “elite” athletes that the meet has drawn in. Some names track fans may recognize include:

The June 16th Meet this Saturday is set to being in even more top talent, including Alan Webb, German Fernandez, Miles Batty, and Riley Masters.

So make sure you don’t pass up the opportunity to watch WORLD class athletes right in your own backyard! The cost is only $5 and the racing will be well worth it. Races generally take place later in the evening to allow athletes the best possible chance to have ideal conditions for racing. A true schedule will not be released until the night prior to the races. Rabbits are provided for every race
