Announcement
State meet coverage will not be webcasted due to "rights fees" mandated by the IHSAA and its partner Associated Sports. An Internet broadcast for a two-day event was set to cost 300 dollars, an amount that is just not in our small budget. We are currently working to find alternate plans to get the best coverage of the state finals under the current constraints. We will keep all Indiana Runner fans updated to the minute via the message board.

Staff Report
Indiana’s two senior cross country All-Americans have made their college choices with verbal commitments.
Three-time state champion Drew Shields of Fishers recently informed coordinator Colin Altevogt of his decision to attend the University of Wisconsin in the fall. The Badgers finished fourth in the NCAA national championship last fall. Shields is not the first recent state champion and Foot Locker finalist from Indiana to attend Wisconsin as former Columbus North star Christian Wagner chose the Badgers after graduating in 2004. Wisconsin topped Notre Dame and Oklahoma on Shields’ list.
Zionsville’s Dylan Sorenson has told staff writer Stephen Bain that he plans to continue his running career at Georgetown University in the future. Sorenson finished fourth in the cross country state finals and qualified for the Foot Locker national championship where he finished 15th.
