Coach's Corner
This will be a new feature to IndianaRunner.com where we will be posting interesting articles and discussions on many different aspects of training. These will range from the coach's point of view to the athlete while focusing on pscyhological and physological effects.
To help with this will be Coach Welch will be taking lead on the majority of this as he shares his 50+ years of coaching experience with the entire Indiana Runner community. He went through his years of experience in the English, Eastern Germany and European systems with a year of Internaational coaching for the 1964 Olympic Games! He is not merely certified in running, but also in throws, jumps and the mechanics of athletics. He also brings a lot of view points from the European training scene to help show some diversity to the training ideas.
We hope that athletes and coachces alike will enjoy this section and that it will truly add a whole new substance to our community here!
