Elena Lancioni Training Blog 5/17/12 – DAC Meet
Week of 5/7/12
Monday –Easy 5 miles with strides.
Tuesday- DAC Conference Meet. 12 minute warm-up, stretches, & plyos. I ran the 1600 and the 3200. I was excited to run both races for the first time this year! I ran well and was happy with how I did. 12 minute cool down.
Wednesday- Medium/long day of 7ish miles.
Other: Core, plyos
Thursday- Workout! Two mile warm-up. The workout consisted of 4 200s, 2 400s, and 2 200s. Two mile cool down.
Friday- Easy 5 miles.
Saturday- Workout. Two mile warm-up. It was a ladder workout with 1 100, 2 200s, 1 300, 1 400, 1 300, 2 200s, & 1 100. One mile cool down and an ice bath!
Sunday- Ran in New Buffalo along Lake Michigan and the beach about 7ish miles.
Great job to all the girls who qualified for Regionals and to everyone who ran track this year! Good luck to everyone next week!!
