The Indiana Runner Distance Showcase: 2012 will be the third straight year for the IR Distance Showcase. Through our great partnership with Anderson University, we aim to provide athletes with the best experience possible. 2012 will bring some very exciting updates and changes which we hope will draw more athletes to want to compete. We hope that you enjoy yourself and we assure you the 2012 version of the IRDS will be an "experience" rather than just a track meet. Our vision is to THINK BIG! 

Entry Forms:  2012 Athletes will have two options for entry into the meet: DMR Entries MUST be mailed!

Who's eligible to compete? The Distance Showcase is open to high school athletes only. No others should sign up to compete.

Order of Events:  1200G, 1200B, 800G, 800B, 3200G, 3200B, Girls Indiana Runner Mile, Boys Indiana Runner Mile, DMR-G, DMR-B

****We may combine events if it proves beneficial.  A final expected schedule will be posted the week of the event.

We will be on a running schedule attempting to get from one event to the next as quickly as possible. The first event will start promptly at 7:30 PM

Event Specifics: All events will be held from slowest heat to fastest. The IndianaRunner.com Mile will have a pacer at a pace to be determined. Please enter all events with a seed time indicative of you CURRENT fitness.

Vendors: USA Track and Field as well as Three Rivers Running Company will be set up selling merchandise. Also, Team Indiana Elite member, sub 4:00 minute miler, and USA Outdoor Steeplechase Finalist Jordan Fife will be present signing autographs and taking photos.

Cost: Price is $6 per event for mailed entry and $24 per relay and $6.25/$25 on Direcathletics.com

Location:  Kardatzke Wellness Center at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. Full address: 1100 E 5th St., Anderson, IN 46012 

When:  Friday, February 3rd, 2012.   Doors will open at 6:30, with the meet starting at 7:30pm (Eastern time)

Track:  200m indoor flat surface track

Relays:  Please bring your own baton!

Spikes:  Spike length is 1/8"

Payment:  Please enclose payment with entry forms for mailed entries. Entries through DirectAthletics.com will require immediate payment through their site.  There will be no registration the day of.  Please make all checks payable to Drake Sterling (postmarked by January 28th):
